public art documentation projects - does anybody know something about?

HI, I'm doing an internship in OfficinaCittàTorino (http://www.oct.torino.it), a section of the City of Turin (Italy) that is developing a project of documentation of all the public art artworks present on the Turin area (both ancient monuments and modern/contemporary artworks - the interesting thing is that, among modern and contemporary works, the greatest part of them has been built after 1990).

Among the contemporary artworks we are documenting, there are also the "Luci d'Artista": maybe you know this light project, since it's published on http://www.publicartonline.org.uk/archive/casestudies/turin/description.php.

The documentation project is aimed to provide useful tols for the maintenance and restoration of the artworks, and also to organize a proper communication addressed to the public, both of Turin citizens and turists. The first media tool is a web-magazine (the first issue will be out for january) and we are developing all the contents. That's why I write you: I would like to write an article about similar projects of documentation of monumets and public art in Europe. I've had a quick look on internet, but I wasn't able to find anything. Maybe you know some projects similar to the one we are developing: if so, could you please inform me?

Maybe you have a list of website related to this topic... Thank you Paola
