European Townscape awards

Hi,

As part of my PhD study i am trying to evaluate connected pedestrian spaces within European cities.

It has been suggested to me that in my identification and selection of connected pedestrian spaces within European cities, i establish townscapes that have been credited in some way, either for an award or something with a similar status. I have managed to find cities within the UK that have been credited for their townscape, but have struggled to establish European cities.

I would be very grateful if anyone could inform of European awards that credit cities for their townscape.

I hope my request is clear to understand. If anyone wishes for me to expand on what information i am after, please don’t hesitate to ask.
