E-community to promote the modelling of 'Smarter Choices' initiatives for personalised travel plans
The DfT has set up a new e-community to promote the modelling of 'Smarter Choices' initiatives.
The internet-based forum aims to promote collaboration with modelling and appraisal professionals in developing new techniques for modelling measures such as workplace and school travel plans, personalised journey planning, car clubs, car sharing schemes, public transport information, marketing, travel awareness campaigns, tele-working and tele-shopping.
Members are encouraged to upload research articles and material that will benefit the development of new tools.
To become a member of the community, email: robin.cambery@dft.gsi.gov.uk
