Charlie Carter

Company profile

I have over twenty years’ experience as a maker, project manager and lead artist on master planning teams in the public realm. I manage complex programmes of work and large budgets to deliver robust, high quality artworks that become a unique expression of a place and its community.

I collaborate with architects, landscapers and planners orchestrating series of related works by myself and other artists to create legibility within an environment, preferring the broader cumulative effect of multiple smaller scale interventions to the single “grand statement”.

My practice has a reputation for sympathetic and inclusive work on regeneration schemes, engaging stake holders from all sectors of the community in the concept and design process through creative workshops.
