Cherry Orchard: affordable residential development

O’Mahony Pike were winners of a design competition sponsored by Dublin Corporation to prepare proposals for an affordable housing Development at Cherry Orchard.  Procurement is proposal by way of a Public Private Partnership contract and the development team comprises Park Developments, Sisk Contractors and DBFL Structural Engineers.

The proposal for a minimum of 376 duplex units, apartments and town houses involves the design of a precast concrete construction system aimed at reducing the building programme by a minimum of 30 per cent, while producing quality, economical contemporary housing.
