The British Urban Regeneration Association, (BURA), facilitates the exchange of ideas, experience and solutions within regeneration. BURA is the leading membership organisation championing regeneration.
Non-core funded, its unique strength derives from its wide range of members in the private, public and community sectors; this distinguishes it from any other sector interest group. BURA identifies and promotes best practice in regeneration and advocates an integrated approach to the social, economic and environmental issues involved.We offer members national and regional networks, dynamic training, access to seminars and conferences plus debates and forums covering key issues of the regeneration agenda.

BURA will be marking Mipim week in 2009 with a series of informal networking events across the UK
NICE (Not In Cannes Events) gathering have been held in different locations for the last three years. They offer those unable to get to Cannes the chance to connect with potential partners and clients in an informal setting and without breaking the bank.

BURA and The Waterways Trust will be announcing the winners of The Waterways Renaissance Awards 2009 at the Arena and Convention Centre on Liverpool’s waterfront on Tuesday, 31st March.
The finalists were announced on the 13th February and the event itself will be presented by Jim Hancock, former BBC Political Editor and presenter of BBC News North West.
