Company profile

Tapmagic has developed and patented an idea for reducing water usage at hand basins. Opening the tap a little gives a strong but water-saving spray for hand washing or cleaning teeth; opening the tap further bypasses the spray mode to fill the basin quickly. It fits any tap with a M24 or M22 threaded outlet and a version is also available for round outlets (15 – 19mm dia)

We also manufacture Spraymagic, a simpler device which turns an existing tap into an economical spray tap.

Product description:

Case study: Southern Water installed Tapmagic in their office washrooms and monitored usage over an eight week period. Using meters and loggers connected to washbasin taps, the average volume per hand wash before and after installation of the devices was compared. Using data from the trial the average saving per hand wash was calculated to be some 52%. On the basis that 8% of household water is used at hand basins this equates to approximately 4% of domestic usage.
