September 2005 BRE’s second sustainability report, 2004/2005

BRE’s latest sustainability report has been structured using guidance developed by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) on sustainability reporting. These guidelines include performance measures grouped into three sections; economic, environmental and social. BRE’s mission is to build a better world and our vision is our unmistakable imprint on a highly regarded and sustainable built environment.

Built environment centres of excellence

February 3, 2006 - The UK Strategic Research Development Partnership for the built environment held by Building Research Establishment was launched on 24 January 2006. The aim of the R&D Partnership will be to strengthen the UK’s capacity to carry out leading-edge built environment research and promote its practical application. more >
